Irma A. Humphreys, age 105 of Pennsville, died Friday evening, September 1, 2017 in Lindsey Place, with her family by her side.

Born in Upper Makefield Twp., PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. & Clara (Hudson) Clark. Irma worked as an LPN in the O.R. at Delaware State Hospital in New Castle, DE, retiring after 25 years of service. She enjoyed camping and traveling with camping clubs, along with her husband, Frank. All her life, her motivation was to care for her children.

Irma is survived by her daughter, Irma M. Cavender; her daughter & son-in-law, Katheryn A. & Ralph Maddocks; seventeen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Frank M. Humphreys, five years ago; her children, Norman H. Brown, Doris H. Coles, and Robert K. Brown; her sisters, Naomi, Clara, Ruth, and Adelaide; and her brothers, Harry, Charles, and Elwood.
