Jean B. DuBois, age 87, of Oldmans Twp., died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Season’s Hospice in Christiana, DE. Born in Salem County, she was the daughter of the late Quinton Biddle and Venelda Hitchner Biddle. Jean was the Executive Director of the Salem County Agriculture, Stabilization and Conservation Service from 1961 to 1993. She was a life-time member of the First Baptist Church of Woodstown and a deacon. She was a 4H leader and loved sewing for the American Cancer Society making pillows and blankets for cancer patients and clothing for children in Haiti. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes delivering cookies and singing with the church group.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Ann DuBois, Barbara J. DuBois and Deborah J. DuBois; her son, John W. (& Diane) DuBois; and her daughter Emily D. DuBois; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and her brother Alfred B. Biddle. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harry R. Dubois, a daughter, Venelda Lynn DuBois and her brother Quinton G. Biddle.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3pm in the First Baptist Church of Woodstown, 117 South Main Street, Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 1pm.until the time of service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Jean be made to the First Baptist Church, 117 South Main Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098, ATTN: Capital Campaign Fund.
