Hubert Thomas Layton, Jr, age 67,  passed away on July 12, 2017 in Elmer Hospital.  Hubie was a graduate of Pfeiffer University.  He worked for several years at the H. T. Layton Funeral Home with his father and brother.  He was predeceased by his mother, Florence Cole Layton, his father, Hubert Thomas Layton, Sr. and his brother, Robert Cole Layton, Sr.  He is survived by his niece, Brittany Layton Mitchell and his nephew, Robert Cole Layton, Jr.  He leaves behind extended family:  Eleanor Clemente, Sylvia Lippincott, Peggy Harvey, Richard Turner, and Michael Burbine.  In addition he is survived by many cousins and close friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at the H.  T. Layton Funeral Home on Saturday, July 15, 2017 with visiting hours from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Lawnside Cemetery following the service.  Please visit www.htlayton.com to leave a note of condolence to the family.  Arrangements are by the H.T.
