Howard Bell Sherwood, age 86 of Alloway, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in his home with his family by his side.

Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Isaac Powel & Marian (Bell) Sherwood. Howard was a self-employed diesel mechanic. He also was past president of the South Jersey Tractor Pullers Association and a past 4-H leader.

Howard is survived by his daughters, Ellen Reeves, Patti Erb (Albert), Judy Green (Brian Bentley), and Susan Pruitt (Michael); his grandchildren, Jennifer Reeves, Michelle Rybak, Ron Reeves, Autumn Davis, Fred Green, Jr., Steven Green, Andrew Green, and Ashley Pruitt; twelve great-grandchildren; his sister, Helen Moody (Clarence); and his brother, Charles Sherwood (Doris). He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Sherwood (Carol); and his grandsons, Robert Davis, Jr. and Joey Loop.
