Gilbert Allan Gaissert, age 89 of Woodstown, died Thursday, January 9, 2020, in his home.

Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles W. & Anna (Phillips) Gaissert.  Gilbert was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1952 to 1954.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University, and he had worked for Del Monte for several years and later became a truck driver.

Gilbert is survived by his children, Steve Gaissert (Jeanna), Kathy Tribbitt (David Patchell), and Beth Davis (Kevin); his grandchildren, Aaron Tribbitt, Marshall Tribbitt, Trent Davis, Kara Davis, Olivia Gaissert, and Nate Gaissert.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Suzanne (Hoagland) in July of 2013, and his son, Mark Gaissert in September of 2015.
