George Brinton Williams age 83 of Pilesgrove Twp., NJ
passed away on Wednesday June 22nd 2022 at home after a long illness.
Born on August 26th 1938 in Salem, NJ he was the son of the late
Coates Swing Williams and Cora Shimp Williams.
George grew up in Upper Pittsgrove Twp. on the family farm, and was a graduate from Woodstown High School Class of 1956.
He was married in 1958 and is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn Kerlin who was also George’s compassionate, and faithful caregiver. He was a lifelong self-employed dairy/hay farmer and served as Deacon, Trustee and Elder in The Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church, Daretown, NJ.
He is survived by his children; Samantha Ewart (Dave), Lisa Bishop (Bruce), grandchildren; Jason Bishop, Lesley Hall (Josh), Benjamin George Bishop(Christine), Brinton Ewart, Brady Ewart (Kristin),great grandchildren; Holly, Clayton, Edward George, Robin, Brielle, and his siblings; Erma Polly Williams-Fischler, and Prescott Williams (Judith).
George will be sadly missed by his many extended family members, neighbors and friends.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Pat Williams, baby sister Alice Williams, and brother-in-law Harry Fischler.
Graveside service will be held at a later date.
Burial will be at The Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church, Daretown, NJ.
