Bonnie Jo Bubier (Ahrens), age 58 of Salem, NJ died on Monday June 13, 2022, at the Salem Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Camden, NJ on August 3, 1963, she was the daughter of the late John and Judith Ahrens. Bonnie Jo was a long-time resident of Haddon Heights, NJ. She was recently working as a housekeeper but was an exquisite seamstress by trade.
Survived by her loving Husband Ernest Bubier, Stepdaughters Antonia Bubier, Jane Clement (Richard), Alexandra Stow (Harry), Jacquelyn Bubier (Dale Kennedy), Sister-in-law Kathleen Kelly, 2 grandsons and 3 granddaughters, Her brother Bruce Ahrens, Late sister Brenda Leadbeater, Late Brother Brian Ahrens, Treina Gushea, many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is also survived by and will be greatly missed by her loving fur babies that had given her so much comfort and support through life and especially during her battle with cancer. Deceased feline the late Theodorus and Else, Sassy (age 31) Muffin, Cooper and Sandy Blue. K-9’s Tobe, Jazzy and Eve. These were all Bonnie Jo’s children.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00am at H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 South Main Street, Woodstown, NJ. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
