Florence Mary Licciardello, age 79 of Pilesgrove, died Friday, December 8, 2017 in her daughter’s home, while surrounded by her family.

Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. & Thelma C. (Stephenson) Dalbow. Florence was a graduate of Paulsboro High School, and she owned and operated a successful residential maid service. Family was most important to her. She was always helping other people and looking after children in addition to her own. She was a very generous, strong, and independent woman who modeled courage and resilience.

Florence is survived by her son, Benny (Sandy); daughter, Josie (Mark) Hudson; son, Dominic (Mary); son, Elmer; son, Mark (Lois); daughter, Thelma (Pat) Dwyer; son, Andrew (Tara); 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Barbara Paz. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Benito J. Licciardello in 1972; her sisters, Jean Sullivan, Shirley Stiles, and Patricia Dalbow; and her brother, Robert Dalbow.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 13th in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM to 11 AM.
