Sarah C. “Sally” Sickler, age 89 of Upper Pittsgrove, died Sunday, November 12, 2017, in her home with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeton, she was the daughter of the late George & Bertha (Hettinger) Coombs. Mrs. Sickler worked along side of her husband and family on their dairy farm, and she was very active in serving her community. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Janet (Bob) Mayhew, Ruth (Marvin) Williams, Richard (Eileen) Sickler, June (Ray) Pepper, Florence Adams, John (Pat) Sickler, Marie (Maynard) McAllister, Ralph (Leslie) Sickler, Frank (Robin) Sickler, Susan (Mark) Gallagher, and Sharon (Bill) Sanders; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, in 2013, her sons-in-law, Arnold Adams and Mike Bell; her grandson, Mitchell McAllister; and her brother, George Coombs, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 19th at Sharptown United Methodist Church, 3 Chapel St., Pilesgrove. Burial will be private.
