Margaret Anne “Margie” Flitcraft, age 91 of Pilesgrove, passed away Friday, January 28,2022 peacefully at home. Born at home in Mannington, she was the daughter of the late Earl W. and Helen (Carll) Harris.

Margie was a 1949 graduate of Salem High School, and she was a self-employed hairdresser in Woodstown for years and loved doing hair at Friends Home after selling her own shop. She loved and was so proud of her family especially her great grandsons Jeffrey and Jonathan Proud, she enjoyed her annual “49er’s” Class Reunions and hosting picnics poolside at her home.
She was a long time member of the Reliance Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and loved to reminisce about their Turkey dinners and the Candlelight Tour dinners they served. She could often be found at the Elmer Grange helping with Salem County Fair dinners or parking cars at the Salem County Fair.

Margie is survived by her loving grandson & his wife, Jeff & Kerry Proud; her great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Jonathan Proud. She is also survived by her granddaughters Stacy, Taylor, and Laine Harris and many extended family members. She was predeceased in this life by her husband Clarance “Fatty” Flitcraft and son Jeffrey L. Harris as well as her siblings, Jesse, Caroline, Louise and Everett.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Margie’s life Friday, February 4th, 2022 at 1pm in Lawnside Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ.
