Clara Stewart Stevenson

Clara Stewart Stevenson of Woodstown passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at home at the age of 91. Born in Pilesgrove, she lived for many years in Paulsboro where her father served at the Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. She was predeceased in 1987 by her husband, Richard J. Stevenson of Paulsboro; by her father, the Reverend Elmer O. Stewart, her mother, Hallie Pancoast Stewart, her brother, T. Newton Stewart of Connecticut, and by her sister, Marian Hoppock of Whiting.

She was a graduate of Peirce Business School in Philadelphia and was employed by the Presbyterian Board of Education in Philadelphia, the Gloucester County Chapter of the American Red Cross located in Woodbury, and was retired from the General Offices of Campbell Soup Company in Camden, NJ where she had worked for twenty years.

Survived by her son Joseph Randolph and daughter Susan Munyon and their families, including two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
