Claire L. Telsey passed away February 8, 2017 after a short illness. She was the beloved wife of Norman Telsey; mother of Yona, Albert, Benjamin and Adam; grandmother of Sabrina, Michelle, Jason, Zachary, Sarah, Matthew, Samuel, Alexander, Rachael, Brianna and Leah; and great grandmother to Benjamin, Jakob, Braxton, Asher, Daniel, Ciara, Diamond and Jeremiah.

Claire and Norman were married for 65 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother and an accomplished fiber artist, reader, cook and health enthusiast. Many of her fiber works were displayed in museums.

Claire learned to fly an airplane, traveled on the Queen Elizabeth 2, raced Mercedes Benz automobiles, made her own clothes, ran 10k road races and watched lots of kids and grandkids play sports, appear in plays and recitals. She loved to listen to her kids and grandkids tell her stories of their day and adventures.

Services will be held Sunday February 12, 2017at Hillel Beth-Hillel Abraham Temple, 547 Irving Avenue, Millville, NJ  08332 12:30pm receiving, 2pm funeral service/eulogies, followed by a catered event at temple after the burial Burial will be at
