Allen W. Ewen, known to friends as “Jake”, passed away on March 19, 2018, at the age of 77 years.

A life long resident of Salem County, Allen graduated from Woodstown High School in 1958. In 1961 he graduated from Spring Garden Institute of Philadelphia. In 1963 Allen was called up to serve his country where he proudly served in the U.S. Army for 2 years. Allen worked at E.I. Dupont Chambers Works for 28 years as a Master Mechanic.

Allen was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Dupont Veterans Association and Ducks Unlimited. He loved boating, fishing & duck hunting.

Allen is survived by his brother, Warren L. Ewen; his daughter, Kay Ewen Donohue (Joseph); granddaughters, Mackenzie and Lita, and grandson, Ryan.
