Leigh M. Ingersoll, age 83 of Alloway, died early Monday morning, February 12, 2018, at home, with his companion of 35 years by his side.

Leigh was born on January 15, 1935 to Clarence and Alice (Nelson) Ingersoll. He retired from DuPont Chambers Works as a lab technician with 39 years of service. He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Diana Locuson of Alloway; his daughter, Bonnie Ingersoll of Mays Landing; his step-daughter, Pam Halter-Chew of Woodstown; his grandchildren, Michael Ingersoll, Jennifer (Kevin) Tharp, Daniel (Kelli) Ingersoll, Trevor, Branden, and Karson; his great-grandson, Joshua Hasenbein; his sisters, Alice Finette Howell (Carl) of Quinton and Barbara Ryan (Bill) of Salisbury, MD; three nephews, and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, February 19th in the Alloway Township Municipal Building, 49 S. Greenwich St., Alloway, where friends are invited to visit from 11 AM until the time of service.
