William J. Koehl, Jr.

William J. “Bill” Koehl, Jr., age 82 of Pilesgrove, died Monday, February 19, 2018, in Friends Village in Woodstown.

Born and raised in Dayton, KY, he has been a Pilesgrove resident for the past 50 years. Bill was a research chemist for Mobil Oil in Paulsboro for 35 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s RC Church where he was instrumental in the planning and construction of the Parish Center. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (Berberich) Koehl; his daughter, Joanne (Scott) Elsbrock; his grandson, William John Elsbrock; three sisters and four brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, February 23rd in the St. Joseph’s Church/Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Church, 51 Broad St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of Mass.
