Walter T. Leslie, long time resident of Alloway, NJ, died Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was born on July 7, 1947, in Phillipsburg, NJ, the son of Teresa and the late Russell Leslie.

He attended Bloomfield College before moving to Salem County to begin his teaching carrier at Alloway School where he taught for 32 years.

Walter worked many years for N.J. Field & Game as a deputy and for Alloway Township as a housing and zoning officer, attended Sharptown Methodist Church and had a deep faith and awaits all of us in heaven. Anyone who knew him, knew of his love for his farm, his antiques, his grand-daughters and his cats.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 6:30pm for all who wish to remember Walter at Sharptown United Methodist Church. 24 Church Street, Pilesgrove, NJ. A visitation will be held from 5pm until the time of service at the church. Everyone will be invited to share their memories about Walt’s life.

Burial will be private in Snyder County, PA.
