Steven J. Kugler of Alloway, NJ passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at the age of 67. Loving husband to Patricia Kugler (nee Finlaw); beloved father of Scott Kugler (Jennifer) of Malaga and Douglas Kugler (Jennifer) of Carneys Point; grandfather of Ryan Kugler and Bennett Kugler. He is survived by his brother, John “Jack” Kugler (Christine) of Woodstown and his sister, Marilyn Becker (nee Kugler) (Donald) of Hockessin DE. He is predeceased by his father, William Kugler and mother, Jean Kugler (nee Sparks). Steven served in the Army and was a Vietnam war veteran. He retired from Verizon with 40 years of service. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid golfer. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his memorial visitation on Tuesday, April 18, from 5-8pm at Layton’s Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, NJ. Private interment will be held at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery.
