Stephen L. Harrell

Watch Journey of Remembrance Video TributeStephen L. Harrell, age 61 of Upper Pittsgrove Twp., died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in his home with his wife by his side.

Born in Salem County, he was the son of the late Joseph A. & Virginia W. (Strickland) Harrell. Stephen was a 1974 graduate of Woodstown High School. He owned and operated Woodstown Electronics and Radio Shack in Woodstown for 35 years. He also owned a second Radio Shack in Lumberton from 2010 to 2013. Recently he was the fleet maintenance and technology coordinator for S.J. Trucking in Woodstown and started his laser etching business at home. He was a business man and a computer expert with a knack for gadgets. He enjoyed shooting sporting clays at Quinton Sportsman’s Club on Sundays, and he enjoyed gardening and traveling with his wife.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy L. (Croxton) Harrell; his brother, Joseph Dennis Harrell; and his min-pins, Chloe and Chanel.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 29th in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 6 to 8 PM Friday evening and from 10 to 11 AM Saturday morning. Burial will follow the funeral service in Lawnside Cemetery.
