Roger R. Everline, Sr.

Roger Ralph Everline, Sr., age 74 of Millville, died Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Ralph T. & Helen (McAllister) Everline. Roger was a USMC Vietnam veteran, serving for over 9 years, over four of those years were in Vietnam, and during which he became a four-time Air Medal Recipient, NJ Distinguished Service Medal recipient, and earned numerous other awards and medals from his military service. He earned his bachelor’s degree with Wilmington College, and he retired from DuPont in September 2002 with 28 years of service. He was a member of VFW Post 1795.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Sherry D. Everline; stepsons, Troy Bartlett and Edward Bartlett; four grandchildren; three great-granddaughters, his brother, Mark Everline; and his long-time companion, Helen L. Willis. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Loren Everline and his brother, Rick Everline.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, February 24th in the Salem County War Veteran’s Cemetery, Rt. 45, Pilesgrove, NJ, at the committal shelter.
