Jerry not wanting to stay retired worked part time at ShopRite Mullica Hill as a Shop From Home shopper. He loved his job, his coworkers, management and customers. Then he took on the management role and tried training his wife, Lynda how to carry on his work.

What gave him the most pleasure were his beloved companions-his Weimaraners that owned him over the years. He could always be seen walking either Sasha or Gracie around the neighborhood and met many new people and stopped to chat with neighbors.

Albert was a dedicated father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and member of the local community. Later in life, when Albert was not on the farm or out playing cards, he could be found with Jean at the Point 40 Diner or Woodstown Diner where they were regulars and daily staples of early morning coffee conversation on the town happenings and most importantly, the weather. Both he and Jean enjoyed going to their respective class reunions to connect with classmates from years past.
