Lucile S. Wilson

Lucile Wilson passed away on Sept. 14, 2017 in Woodstown, New Jersey. She was 102 years old; born Feb. 15, 1915 in Grover Hill, Ohio. She had been a resident of the Friends Village in Woodstown since 1991.

 

She is survived by her son, Gary Brown of El Paso, Texas, a grand daughter, Carol Dilks of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina a grand son, Robert Borton of Pilesgrove, New Jersey and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 

Lucile was a long-time member of Asbury Methodist Church and a volunteer for several charitable organizations in Woodstown. She was best known for her tireless efforts at helping others through sharing of her time, love and resources. Who can forget her homemade cookies, cakes, pies and the best bread pudding in the world! Most important, Lucile served as a role model through her love of Jesus, her church, her family and the community.

A celebration of her life was held at the Friends Village on Sept. 15, 2017. Internment was at the Eglington Cemetery on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017. We will miss her!
