Jessica B. Paruszewski, age 96 of Mannington, died Friday, April 20, 2018, in her home with her family by her side.

Born in Gloucester, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Joseph & Margaret Burns. She was a graduate of Gloucester High School and started working for RCA after graduating. She had also worked as a rental agent for Cowtown for over 20 years, and in her younger years, she was an excellent seamstress, making wedding dresses and slip covers, among other items. She also worked for the Salem City Chamber of Commerce for a number of years. She was an avid bridge player, and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She held weekend meals at home, and touched many hearts, especially those of children.

She is survived by her son, Raymond T. Paruszewski (Barbara); her daughter, J. Lynne Paruszewski-Winkers (John); her son, Jeff Paruszewski (Patricia); ten grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and her brother, George Burns. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Miron Raymond Paruszewski in July of 2002; her son, Joe Paruszewski in July of 2000; her brother, Joe Burns; and her sisters, Dot Moon and Winifred Cook.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 26th in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 261 Connecticut Dr., Burlington, NJ, 08016.
