Irwin J. “Frank” Denning, age 71 of Pittsgrove, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in his home with his family by his side.

Born in Erie, PA, he was the son of Florence (Bouton) Denning and the late Irwin J. Denning. Frank was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War, and he worked in maintenance for Inspira Hospital in Woodbury. He was a private man who enjoyed camping with his motorhome, and he loved his wife, daughter and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary L. (Nickerson); his daughter & son-in-law, Melinda & Andrew Haney; his grandchildren, Ranae and Junior; his brothers, Rodney and Paul, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Morgan Shannon; his brothers, Bill and Terry; and his sister, Paula.

A memorial gathering will be held from 1 to 5 PM on Saturday, December 30th at the Franklinville VFW, 2179 Delsea Dr. (Rt. 47), Franklinville, NJ 08322. Burial will be held at a later date.
