Irene Z. Bradway, age 87 of Pilesgrove, died Friday, February 2, 2017 in Salem Hospital.
Born in Swedesboro and raised in Bridgeton, daughter of the late Clarence & Mary (Lewis) Zane, she was a 1948 graduate of Bridgeton High School. Irene volunteered with Girl Scouts and 4H when her children were young, and she later went on to work in home health care after her children were grown. She, along with her husband, Charles, volunteered at Salem Hospital for many years. Irene and Charlie had a love for world travel, including Spring and Fall trips to Florida. In her earlier years, she enjoyed painting and sewing. She was an avid Bridge player. Irene always knew what someone needed even before they themselves knew.
Irene is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Charles G. III & Susan M. Pisarcik of Edgewater, FL; her daughter, Rebecca B. Lannon of Valdosta, GA; and her granddaughters, Carissa and Kaylyn Lannon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles G. Bradway, Jr., in April of 2015.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 10th in the First Baptist Church of Woodstown, 117 S.
