Charlotte Anne Miller

Charlotte Anne Miller Quinton, NJ Charlotte Anne Miller of Quinton, NJ, passed away on February 22. Mrs. Miller, a native of Millville, was married to the late Daniel R. Miller of Quinton in 1948. She and her late husband built their Quinton home in 1955 and lived their continuously until her death. Anne (as friends knew her) worked in a variety of administrative positions during a thirty year career at Salem County Memorial Hospital from the 1950s through the 1980s and retired as the facility’s first Director of Human Resources. She also played a key role in shepherding the hospital through Joint Commission accreditation audits and early growth of the institution. Later she also held administrative positions at Salem Community College and the Public Service Electric & Gas nuclear facility in Lower Alloways Creek. After retirement she remained active in volunteer organizations at the hospital and with Ruritan National. She is survived by sons, Daniel and Keith; grandsons, Erik, William, Daniel and Jason; granddaughter, Miranda (Miller) Fisler; great-granddaughters, Kacey (Miller) Macfarland, Lucy Miller, Adaline Fisler; and daughters-in-law, Kim Miller and Zhen Miller. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday March 5, 2018 at Aldine United Methodist Church, 780 Friesburg Aldine Road, Elmer, NJ 08318. A public viewing will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The American Heart Association.
