Charles C. “Chuck” Kidwell, Sr., age 71 of Woodstown, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, in Salem Hospital.
Born in Allen, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late J.C. & Myrtle Irene (Allen) Kidwell. He was a Salem High School graduate and a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Charles had worked as an operator for Huntsman Polypropylene in West Deptford. He had also worked at Gaynor Glass and Helena Chemical.
Charles is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debra J. Kidwell; his son, Charles Jr.; his daughter, Theresa Lynn Caldwell; his step-daughters, Terry Stiles and Angela Parkell; his grandchildren, Paige Nicole Kidwell, Chris Widger and Ashlynn Widger; his brothers, Donald and John Kidwell of Pennsville; his sisters, Clara “Annie” Beals of Pennsville and Betty McGuinness of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, August 3rd in the Salem County War Veteran’s Cemetery, Rt. 45, Pilesgrove.
