Arthur Thomas (Tom) Miller

Of Woodstown, NJ, died peacefully at home March 2, 2017 at age 73.

A graduate of Central High School in Philadelphia and Temple University, Tom served in the Army, worked for Philco-Ford, ARA Services and IMS, and retired from Mannington Mills. He was a member of the Mannington Mills Retiree Association, Second Pennsylvania Regiment (Revolutionary War reenactment) and the Philadelphia Guild of Changeringers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, son Mark, son Michael and his wife Angela Walls, sister Karen Andreasen and her husband Gary and their family. Visitation at Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098, Friday March 10, from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service at Saint Mark’s Church, 1625 Locust Street, Philadelphia on Saturday, March 11 at 11 am. Interment at Salem County Veteran’s Cemetery, route 45, Pilesgrove, NJ, Saturday, March 11 at approximately 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Saint Mark’s Church, 1625 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or to Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson, attn: Emma Lavery/Dr. Sato, Office of Institutional Advancement at Jefferson, 125 S. 9th Street, Suite 600, Philadelphia, PA 19107, with checks payable to Jefferson with note that the donation is for Uveal Melanoma Research.
