Alice Emma (nee Stoffels) Chrzanowski, 80, wife of John R. Chrzanowski and a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. A native of Woodstown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Louis Stoffels and the late Emma Corson Stoffels Brennan. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Onley, VA and the Eastern Shore Ladies Auxiliary #6963.
She is survived by three children, Cindylou (Jesse) Nelson, Lisa (Thomas) Burns and Nadine Chrzanowski and her partner, James W. Targett, Jr. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Stoffels and Charles Stoffels.
Funeral services in Virginia will be conducted Friday, October 13, 2017, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Rogelio L. Abadano officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 860, Onley, VA 23418.
A Memorial service in New Jersey will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 22nd in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S.
